This is a super good video that shows some of the basics and some of the basic mistakes you can make when installing crown molding. It also shows the difference between casings and crown moldings and how to cut them on the miter saw.
The Bench Dog Crown cut jig helps hold the molding in place so that it does not move at all while cutting. If it moves, the angles will not line up and you will find yourself filling and sanding. by: Router Table Depot
