This is a pretty good video showing you how to use a flush trim bit. This is probably the application I use mine for most often (cleaning up a glued up joint) It clearly shows how the profile bearing is guided along the surface where you want the flushness too. These bits are fantastic for this and if you do not have one you will do yourself a favor by having one or two in the shop.
Our shop stocks several size flush trim router bits since you never really know what size you may need. Its kind of like a roundover bit, you really need more than one size. by: Router Table Depot ![]() |
